We have a great opportunity for a Calibration Technician experienced in Electronics to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In this role you will:
* Perform calibrations on high level and unique test and measurement instrumentation
* Use your troubleshooting, repair, and calibration knowledge to work on unique equipment
* Help interact with customer to determine needs relating to traceability, adequacy of standards and test procedures utilized by Trescal, Inc., as well as, for items requiring repair or limited calibration
As a Calibration Technician you must possess:
*Military calibration training & work experience (PMEL OR TMDE) OR AS Degree in a technical field OR equivalent work experience.
*Minimum of 4 years of experience calibrating test & measurement equipment in a commercial or military calibration laboratory.
*Experience in calibrating multiple disciplines of Test & Measurement Equipment such as:
- Electrical/Electronics - DC/low - high degree of understanding with little guidance
*Strong Communication skills
*Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Internet Research and database management
*Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
*Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload
*Ability to lift up to 50lbs
And we would prefer:
- National Instruments
- High voltage/current
- RF experience a plus!
*Experience using Calibration Software such as: LabView , SURE/CAL and Met/Cal
